Cute Kiddo Sayings

This week has been full of crazy chaos, in the midst of it, however, the kids have been caught with some pretty funny stuff coming out of their mouths....

 

Yesterday, Christy came to the rescue and took 4 of my kiddos for the afternoon/evening. When they arrived to her house, as the kids all sauntered in, Christy heard Ky say "Ahhh. Home Sweet Home" - which made me laugh when she told me, because it is true, Christy's house is the kids other home.

 

Yesterday while the kids were with Christy, she helped them do a ton of homework. She also took them with her when she picked up her kiddos from school. Colton was extra excited to tell Jared something about his school day. I think it went something like this: Colton - "Jared, guess who my best teacher today was?" Jared - not knowing what Colton was talking about because he doesnt have "teachers" - Colton - "It was your MOM!" Christy said they all cackled and had a good time with that one. So happy that my kids are happy and successful with Christy. Will have to have her fill in the details a little more too. Sounds like Colton was extra excited that Christy was his best teacher.

 

Last night in the midst of more chaos (the beast dying in the driveway again 10 min before supposed to leave for karate) Preston whisked the kids off to class. While at class he overheard the main instructor inform his assistant that he wanted to work the kids so hard "it will make Ky Baxter cry" - now, that sounds harsh. If you knew this instructor, and his great relationship with Ky and his instructor constantly being impressed with Ky keeping up with the big kids, it would make you laugh as I did. I guess the kids worked pretty hard, and at the end of class Ky's instructor called out to him "Ky Baxter, did you cry?" - to which Ky apparently responded "No, sir! I dont cry in class, sir!" - made me laugh right out loud when Preston told me. We love the kids' karate school, and all of the instructors. They have a great relationship with the kids and can find that fun and discipline sometimes goes hand-in-hand.
