More updates to come ...
Welcome to the Baxter Family Circus Blog! We are a family running a non-stop three ring adventure, and we are learning and experiencing new things every day. We post all our fun family adventures (and misadventures) to share, but mostly to keep our family journaling going strong. Our life is one big circus, and we are learning to tame and balance life one act and one adventure at a time!

120316 Part 2
CT came back fine (no blood clot in her lungs - yay!). The ER doc is consulting with Oncology to see if the Taxol might have these kinds of side effects. Worry levels appear to be down, which is a good thing. They are offering to admit her, but she's not interested. Fentanyl seems to be doing what it's supposed to; the pain is much less, but she is REALLY drugged out. Not sure if they are going to consider prescribing a patch for her to use. He heart rate is down, probably because the pain is so much less. If only we could help her jaw pain; probably need to see Dr. Drew soon on that one. At least the skin, fingers, legs and chest pains are mostly gone for now. They say this stuff doesn't last long though, so we'll see if they maybe want to wait and see whether / how quickly it comes back before letting us go.
