FALL FUN

Last week I got to go with C on his class fieldtrip to a local farm for their annual kinder pumpkin patch fieldtrip. The kids had a blast and there were so many things for them to do! C and C were there own group - more than enough for C's mom to handle. We had fun following the boys as they explored the barn and activites inside (hay slide, wheat "sandbox"), I walked with the stroller as the kids got a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, and B helped the boys cut their very own strawberries to take home. The boys esp liked sitting on the HUGE stacks of hay to eat their lunch and the loved pushing K on a trike around a hay "racetrack".
It was fun to be an "unofficial" chaperone which allowed me to just wander with C and take picts. It was a really fun morning for everyone. It apparently was also exhausting playing so hard - we came home and all 3 kiddos totally zonked out for the afternoon - C NEVER takes naps anymore! It was kind of funny, but nice to have a quiet afternoon after all of our morning fun.
