Kels has learned to do lots of things for herself in the last couple of weeks. Since she is getting so sturdy, I went ahead and sent her outside with the boys and the dogs yesterday when noise levels just got to be too much.
As soon as she got outside LJ jumped up on her to kiss her (he is as tall as she is on his hind legs) and totally dumped her to the ground. She started to cry and got these huge alligator tears and a BIG pouty lip. I told LJ "DOWN!" and pointed to the ground and bopped him on the nose as he tried to dump her again. He got her again, and the tears and lip started and then Kels pointed to the ground and softly and sadly said "down!" She is just getting SO big! She just kept telling him "down!" until he finally listened to her.
A short while after that it got pretty quiet outside so I went out to investigate and this is what I found - Kels was SHARING the dog food - one bite for LJ, and one bite for her. The big kids were mortified and all stressed out, I calmly told them they had done the same thing. I couldnt get picts of Kels telling LJ "down" but I didnt miss the opportunity to get picts of this!
A bite for LJ.....

A bite for Kels....(eeww)

A bite for LJ.....

This pict was a total crack up. I could hear Ky screaming from the other room that he was "stuck" (MOM! I STUCK!) I couldnt imagine where he would be stuck - until I walked in to find Kels SITTING ON Ky. She is heavier than he is now, so her weight will pin him down. She seemed perfectly proud of herself that she was "sharing" his space - you cant quite tell from his face how squashed he really was...She wants so much to play with Ky and be with him, but he is really pretty scared of her because she is as big and heavier than he is. He is a little squirt and she is a chunk, eventually that will even out, but for now we do the best to help him out when he gets "stuck"
