Welcome to the Baxter Family Circus Blog! We are a family running a non-stop three ring adventure, and we are learning and experiencing new things every day. We post all our fun family adventures (and misadventures) to share, but mostly to keep our family journaling going strong. Our life is one big circus, and we are learning to tame and balance life one act and one adventure at a time!

OR STATE FAIR III
While at the fair we were just in time for a hilarious clown show called "Jest In Time" They did all sorts of tricks - juggling, music, trained dog, etc. We were surprised and thrilled when they were looking for a LITTLE volunteer and Ky was chosen to help! He had the crowd busting with laughter because he is just so stinkin' cute. I wish we would have had a video camera with us, would love to have that show on film! Here are some highlights from the show:

Ky was helping to stack the boxes and stacked one with the flap side up vs the flat side up. The clown asked him to pick it up - Ky thought he said KICK it - so he did -which brought a big response from the clown "I need you to pick it up, not kick it" he said laughingly - which brought huge laughs from the crowd too - esp since after that Ky tried to walk away thinking his job was done.
Towards the end of the show the girl clown asked Ky to stand next to her - just out of the blue he looked out at the crowd and said "CHEESE!" - which as you can see from the pict (sorry it is blurry) took her completely off guard! The whole audience was roaring by then - which is why the pict is blurry - I was laughing so hard I could hardly hold the camera!

Sounds like such a great time! That's neat that Ky got to be the star. And sweet that Kaeli was so generous to let everyone go on a ride :)
