The opportunities for the kids are also going to be amazing. We found out that because of the high level classes ceana took at TMS that she has already met her high school graduation requirements for math!!! Yippe for her, that leaves all of her next 4 years open for her to take advanced classes and even earn college credit during that time.
We have discovered that Colton is needing to repeat Kindergarten and that many skills and needs were not met last year as we had hoped. We have the chance for me to work with him one-on-one and make sure those skills are achieved and he is learning at his pace to get subjects and themed lessons completed.
We are still working on trying to find balance between the boys' schedules though. They are both still needing 1-1 help and that is difficult for me, as I need to be everywhere for everyone and still take care of Ky & Kels and house (which is not happening at all) We will eventually get it figured out, eventually.
The kids are finding their favorite subjects already. Caiden has started his language arts class with reading "Because of Winn Dixie" and doing assignments from the book. His comprehension levels are really great and he seems to enjoy all the activities he can do on the computer for his assignments. Kaeli is really enjoying Social Studies and learning about different cultures and countries. Ceana is REALLy loving her Latin class and we are having fun starting to learn what we already know in Latin (more than you would think!) and new vocabulary (starting with animals) Colton is just loving everything and I think he is just happy to be back at "school"
These picts are of the boys on the phone with their classroom teachers. Each homeroom teacher made a welcome call to every student. The boys really had fun talking with their teachers and learning about all the fun they will have this year. Each teacher will also make check in phone calls every other week and the kids' will have what are called "live lessons" where they will get onto a live classroom online every week with their teachers and other students in their class.
Caiden is talking with his teacher and going over his student questionaire. His favorite subjects are math, reading, and science.

so fun and exciting, yet so bust for you. It is like home schooling without you needing to do ALL the work...I am not sure how you cope with it all...you never cease to amaze me Rory!
