Update preview

OK so it's been WAY too long since our last update. I'll try to give more details later on tonight, but for now ... this week hasn't been so good for Rory. This round of chemo is expected to cause arthritis-like joint and bone pains, and she's been under pretty heavy medication most of the week. Of course that keeps her groggy, unable to get sleep or stay awake, and just feeling horrible. We all hope she's at the bottom of this cycle and starts to feel better again soon. 

We also had an ORCA field trip, Valentine's Day dinner at home, state testing for Ceana and Caiden, extra late work nights, taxes, mortgage refinance, car repairs, karate classes, chess matches, brainteasers, huge assignments, work deadlines, Army travel and more. It's been crazy-busy but I'll try to get more details written soon. We're still hanging in there ...

Grandma Baxter really was that witty- We still quote her on mother's day. Years ago at the study group mothers day luncheon the host said "we are here to honor our mothers" and Gma Baxter said under her breath (but loud enough for the Uzelac's to hear) "you want to honor me? Stay out of jail. That will honor me!" hahahahaha
